This is a great purse….except! for the gold lettering on the bottom “genuine glovetanned leather” (I uploaded a picture) makes it look really cheap and has me wondering if this is a real Coach product as I have not seen this on any other Coach leather product. Although everything else looks of good quality, I would not have purchased had I seen this lettering in the pictures. I ended up ordering the style in nylon from the Coach website…and will not trust Zappos to sell Coach products…very disappointed.

The bag was not the color as shown or described. “Maple” is not dark brown as was delivered. Also the bag was smaller than I expected.

Obviously the other reviewers aren’t familiar with Coach’s higher-end offerings. Coach has been using Glovetanned Leather since the 60s when Bonnie Cashin was still their lead designer. It’s used extensively in the Coach 1941 & Coach Originals Collections.
Every Glovetanned Leather Coach product is marked as such with a process known as hot stamping, not just “gold lettering” as another reviewer described it. The Rogue, Cashin, Rambler, Hutton, Hitch, and yes the Swinger.
This is the highest quality leather available and it’s a full-grain leather with natural variations. You will see every scar and blemish the cow had because, again, this is REAL leather not minced mush.
Anyway, the Swinger 20 (this is the smaller version) is an archival design from the late 90s / early aughts that is extremely hot right now. Known as Y2K Fashion these small bags are what’s in.
Get your vaccine, buy an actual high-quality bag like this one, and go enjoy life again! You will not regret it, but you might if you don’t.
